It’s quite remarkable looking at the bbc desperately trying to spin these ‘protests’ (riots) as “mostly peaceful” when there’s so much footage out there of widespread looting, Molotov cocktails and vehicles and buildings on fire.
The Beeb are very cautious in their wording of any violence in the streets here or in any other areas or Nations , that is their narritive and benchmark allegedly .
I enjoy watching late night News 24 on the BBC but I just wish a reporter would day it as it is on the streets ,
In fairness they are starting to open up albiet with the right words on the Ballymena riots and the culprits at the core of these problems .

Yeah, you're right, polls are often wrong. I say it regulalrly myself. Thing is, from the outside looking in and seeing what Trump says and does, there is nothing deranged in not liking him.

First off, there was no mention of Trump's birthday at the parade yesterday, just the 250th birthday of the US Army.
Secondly, it was a beautiful parade that began with the Continental Army formed to fight the British in 1775, and ran through every era of the army in chronological order.
Thirdly, your information about the attendance is inaccurate as always. This morning I even heard some leftist on CNN begrudgingly noting that it was a very unifying event, noting that she saw people with No Kings shirts standing next to others with MAGA hats. She also said she spoke with other people there who said they didn't vote for Trump but the parade was "pretty cool."
Finally, it was probably the best $45 million the government has spent in a long time. After four years of embarrassing ourselves on the world stage, we badly needed this and everything else Trump is doing to restore our pride and patriotism, and show that American exceptionalisn is truly back.

The way Trump treated Zelensky, the demands of Denmark and Canada, the trade tariffs and backtracking, the lies and spurious claims.
I've been to the USA 5 times and never persoanlly met anybody I didn't like, people were generally polite, friendly and helpful but people see a different side to the place these days and trust me, exceptionalism isn't a good look, specially when matched with false pride and massive egos.
Honest question, what do you think the USA has to be proud about right now?
