Most of the parties would want to win without forming a coalition and probably no parties are going to negotiate coalitions before the election so it won't be a concern for most of the public if Conservatives and Reform form a coalition or Plaid/Greens/Lib-Dems form a coalition etc.

Those with an ounce of sense would realise a Plaid/Labour coalition will mean no change in the Senedd. Very few want that. The opening post said that Labour voters are changing to Plaid. Will they do that if they think they are letting Labour back in. It makes no real sense. [Post edited 9 Jun 16:38]

Most results would end up with coalitions having to be formed better that Plaid have the whip hand than Labour/Conservatives/Reform/etc

Wrong in my opinion. When they were in coalition before Plaid were the smaller party and had to make do with what they could persuade Labour to accept from their policies. If Plaid are the larger party in coalition it will work the other way and Plaid will get most things their way. And they won't be sucking up to Labour in Westminster.

So you think the voters leaving Labour and turning to Plaid will be happy with a Labour coalition.

Well if they leave Labour and vote Plaid and then Plaid get say 80% of their policies through as compared with Labour's 20% then yes.

It's not often I agree with Trampie but I do on this. When Labour were the senior partner Plaid got crumbs, it'll be the same for Labour if Plaid are senior partner. Better for everybody if the vast majority of Labour voters went elsewhere. We've had enough if Labour in Wales. If Labour aren't going to win are labour voters going to happily give Reform a lot of seats? Time for tactial voting, give up on Labour and give Plaid a majority. It's Rhun ap Iorwerth Or Farage.

Wales cannot afford another shambles of a Welsh Government at the Senedd, Drakeford has ruined Wales and has held Wales back for all the years he's been Welsh Labours leader even worse than those who went before him. I've no faith in Reform in Wales they will be another disaster Wales, but I've no faith in any of the leading parties in Wales either, so I'm stumped as to who could do a decent job.

That's why I'm voting for Plaid mate, seems like the best of a bad choice. Can't fo Farage, Labour have shit on their own doorstep and the tories...no.

I will probably wait for the manifestos and see who is standing in my constituency. It's far too early to say who I'm voting for, but I can say I'm not voting Labour or Conservative.

Well Labour and Plaid are proven failures and there is no doubt our decline under either of them will continue so i will vote Reform, and if as you say they are as bad as Labour and Plaid then i will have another lot to have no faith in.

Why are Plaid proven failures? Why do you think reform a better choice, they have no candidates yet, in Wales, they have no leader and NO policies. They have nothing ut a collection of promises that I have read and those promises cannot be kept, the Senedd do not have the powers to do what Farahge says he'll do in Wales. Which political party doesn't have its share of nutcases?

Wasn't Plaid in coalition with Labour when the 20mph was brought in. Plus during the Welsh NHS fiasco with Betsi Cadwaladr being brought in and out and back in special measures and the general decline in health services in Wales.

The 20mph was Labour, Plaid agreed with it yes but the problem wasn't the idea, it was the planning and implementation. How much of that was down to Plaid? The Welsh NHS has been a disaster a long time in the making. Then there's leaders, Plaid used to have the useless Adam Price, Ap Iorwerth seems a much better proposition. How good he really is we'll have to wait and see I guess. One thing I'm certain of, he is no more of a proven failure than Farage and at least Plaid have policies.

Plaid were in coalition, if they had no say in anything what was the point of keeping Labour in power.
