I'd hazard a guess why standards have dropped is the fact that the NHS is no longer a priority ,yes governments throw money at it but without looking at what going wrong , too many appointments made as a tick box exercise ,too many made unnecessary high paying jobs such as diversity managers .The removal of the role of Ward Sister is an example of how overall standards may have dropped ,an aging population isn't helping as society we're getting lazier and with that the decline in heavy industry and manual labour isn't helping our health and with all that a system which seems to accept ‘Corridor care’ is making at times a hospitals a dangerous place to be in. There's lots of reasons why we've got to the stage we're at and with it a lot of answers needed. | |
