That was never a penalty, it was a dive England player should have been booked for cheating.

I'm reading all sorts of sentimental crap
Drives me nuts

We qualified and sung the anthem and waves the flag
Then reality hits
It's about winning , pride and glory

You are the sort of bloke who was born and brought up next to Prenton Park, but supports a side 20 minutes away because they win more games. Shame on you.

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

He cant moan about the swans so he gives the wales ladies (who have done magnificently to actually get to the euros considering the resources at their disposal compared to the other lady nations) a big kick.

How low can one get eh.

The number of girls at a young age now coming into football will be a big plus in years to come. My daughter started last year at under sevens for a team in Carmarthen and we have 14 at training each week. This is replicated through the age groups. That said, at the elite level even at senior level, sport isnt about the taking part, wales have done extremely well to qualify but it is all about results. The question is what can wales now do to kick on from having qualified to having a more successful team?

Agreed girls football is booming in Wales, mostly down to the England team success previously. More young girls know the names of the English players than the Welsh, hopefully this will start to change now. We really need a couple of full time professional teams. I have watched the English team gradually improve over the years, we are at least 10 years behind.

I've had a long term interest in girls sports because my wife, daughters and granddaughters have been/are very competitive and active in sports. To the point of even teaching and coaching. If you take football and rugby for example any girl playing football used to be a tomboy and needed to play with the boys, girls very rarely played rugby. Now girls playing for clubs can put a full team plus subs from age 7, obviously depending on the club. Rugby not quite as strong but still full teams playing tag rugby over a 2 year age group. The standard is getting much better and has improved immeasurably over the last 2/3 years. Sunday mornings are now a pleasure to see with four/six teams grouped together playing round Robin matches and it is happening all over South Wales (i can't speak for other areas). This will take time to work it's way through but high profile tournaments will only benifit. Speaking to a granddaughter this morning she although disapointed with the Euro results is not disheartened the response was, when I get there we will win. That's from a 10 year old, we need to encourage not knock.

They are not very good but put Wales on the map. I do not have much interest in watching women's football but I wish them well.

The stats in all the games was low possession and not much threat.

I tell foreigners sometimes Cymru is 5 Englishmen short of winong a title. Wales women need to check grandpa and grandma links and get a few saeson in the team.

Brilliant.

I used to look at Welsh women's football and wonder how they weren't even able to kick a ball properly never mind play the actual game well. But it has come along in leaps and bounds over the last few years as you say WR.

I didn't see any of the England game apart from the goals but in the other two games they did at times look good albeit against teams that are currently much better.

But i'm certain that given time and money Wales Women will become a lot better again.

It's all about the resources available, the likes of England would put our ladies resources well into the shade along with many other teams.

Hallelujah

A poor standard of football rammed down the throats of football fans of the men’s game.

Women’s football has its place but it’s a far sub standard to the men’s game whether England or Wales.

My Mrs had 5 brothers 4 now sadly but she'd regularly played football with them, she could play a bit to despite her diminutive size she loves football still today, wall to wall football here during the season, its on here all day on a Sunday I'm the one that complains

Improve coaching and more talent spotters which basically requires much more money of which they are probably finding it hard to finance.

Has Rayns said above they need to be playing in the English Ladies league, but there are possibly better talented ladies in English Ladies football than the majority of Welsh ladies unfortunately, they no doubt have a larger player base to pick from which makes it harder.
