Danny Ings has barely been injured since his first season at Saints, when he missed 12 games through injury in two separate spells, yet is always described as injury prone.
In his two full seasons at the club he played in 67 of the 76 Premier League games he could have played.
I would have Danny Ings back without a doubt, but as Ralph Hasenhuttl said at the time, "Players just don't want to be club legends anymore"
When he left Saints in 2021 he chased money and in doing so effectively ended his chances of playing in the 2021 World Cup, he has done that since and is now doing it again. |  |
