Best album? on 13:31 - Jul 17 with 1259 views | franniesTache | Best album i own - Miles Davis In A Silent Way, in fact in my opinion it's probably the best album ever made 2. by decade. 70's - In a silent way 80's - Prince, Purple Rain 90's - Spiritualised, Ladies & Gentleman We Are Floating In Space 00's - Joanna Newsom, YS 10's - Kamasai Washington, Heaven and Earth 20's - Little Simz, Sometimes I Might Be Introvert 3. God knows way too many too mention, often i'd buy something on CD first whilst i was looking for an original on record and given i've got in excess of 2k records i could be listing them out for pages

Best album? on 17:15 - Jul 17 with 1094 views | mushinexile | 70s, I bought lots of music and over the years less and less as other things became important (bikes, cars, aeroplanes, women, in order of impact on disposable income.) Seventies woud be hard to choose between Moving Waves, The Roaring silence Business as Usual and Plastic Letters. Special mention though for The Man in the Bowler Hat. Eighties. A lot of stuff I heard subsequently has found its way to the top of the playlist but Mirror Moves must have hit something because I'm really excited to be seeing them again at the Bataclan in November. Nineties. A decade lost to an obsession with Saab Turbos. Can't remember any music other than Jagged Little Pill which hasn't worn well. Twenty First Century. Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots. Last decade. Crimson/Red. Much of what's around now is of very little interest and I find myself seeking out stuff I never heard long ago.

Its not the best seller of all time - utter cack. To my tone death ears it sounds dated and i guess if you stick it in front of someone under 40 they would think the same.

Best album? on 18:26 - Jul 19 with 164 views | ShirtNumbers | 70s: Unknown Pleasures - Joy Division 80s: Meat is Murder - The Smiths 90s: Either/Or - Elliott Smith (or OK Computer I genuinely cannot choose) 00s: In Rainbows - Radiohead 10s: West Kirby County Primary - Bill Ryder Jones 20s: Chaos for the Fly - Grian Chatten As for the stuff I own, I could spend days thinking about that. Plenty of good albums have been missed out of this list as well - tried to keep it fairly diverse and not favour any single artist.
