Flynn's Falkirk Friendly Fling
Flynn's Falkirk Friendly Fling

Recently released Dale defender Matty Flynn has joined Scottish side Falkirk on trial and came off the bench for them on Saturday in a friendly with Preston North End.

Flynn came on as a first half subsitute for the Bairns and marked his chance with a goal to put the home side 2-0 up. However, Falkirk could not hold on and the game finished 2-2.

In between the sticks for Preston North End was David Lucas who was on trial with Dale last week, but his hopes of impressing his former side were dashed when he conceded after just 40 seconds into the game.

Former Dale player Kallum Higginbotham also played in this game, and was named as man of the match.
