Dale winger Will Buckley has been linked with a move to Hornets - the Watford variety rather than the egg chasing Spotland tenants.

Buckley to Watford is a deal which has been rumoured for some while, and it's gained extra momentum with Sky Sports picking up on the rumour. This could be a sign of the media giants finally picking up on the rumour, or could it be a sign that this rumour has some truth behind it?

Watford have suffered financially throughout the season, following the pulling out of their main money man, but a rescue deal was put together, and they did receive cash last week that was owed to them by cash strapped Portsmouth.

Buckley was named in the starting line up for Saturday's game at Cheltenham, but a late knock in the warm up ruled him out of his first game for Dale since November.
