News
(........Continued From Above)

This will be Boundy's last game of his suspension, which has lasts nearly a month due to the fixture list and postponed matches!

Hopefully though we can avenge our early cup exit last month at Dean Stadium and get that first win in 10 games we so desperately need.

Cardiff target Jason Price should be available again after a small knock to his knee in training last week, and with him back Roberts is likely to be moved over to the left wing. Roberts has struggled every time I've seen him play on the left wing and I would seriously consider playing Casey in that position when fit as it's his natural position.

The worrying aspect I can see with Hollins is that as his job is getting more and more on the line he's resorting to the "loan" mode, in principle a great idea but all the players we seem to be looking at are all strikers. Our real problem with lack of goal scoring is not our strikers but in midfield where we seem to be at our weakest, we only have right wingers available to cross the ball into Savarese therefore if Roberts or Price can't beat their man there's very little the forwards can do.

Bournemouth News

Times have changed since we played them less than a month ago, whilst we haven't won in ten, seem to be losing our new stadia etc. Bournemouth are doing the exact opposite by winning their last 6 games and developing serious plans about a new stadium for the club.

Jermaine Defoe is expected to replace James Hayter and partner Steve Fletcher up front. The midfield is not expected to change, however Gareth O'Connor and Warren Cummings are both pushing for a place with Claus Jorgensen looking the most likely player that they could replace after picking up an injury and needing stitches in the game against Nuneaton. The defence of Tindall, Purches, Broadhurst and Howe will remain unchanged, and Gareth Stewart is expected to play in goal, although Michel Menetrier would relish a chance to impress again after a superb LDV performance, which included some great penalty saves.

Player to watch: Wade Elliot

Position: Midfielder

History: Brought into the Bashley team and soon shone. Proving to be one of the best players in the Dr. Martens league, Wade was soon snapped up by Bournemouth for a bargain £5,000. Since Joining Bournemouth: Not many games played by Wade so far, but has gained nothing but praise and a good looking partnership with Neil Young on the right hand side. Very skillful and quick player always looking for a way forward, never afraid to make a tackle either. If he can keep up three goals per six starts, Wade will surely be one to watch next season.

Stats: 1999/2000: Appearances 12, 3 goals
