Welsh midfielder Tudur-Jones was singed by Kenny Jackett for just £5000 from Bangor in 2006 after a successful trial. Owain also had a trial for Chelsea before signing with the Swans.
Owain is a tall midfielder and is fairly decent on the ball but often loses a lot of aerial battles (which is strange considering his height) and does go through games un-noticed, but he is still young and learning.
He had a decent first season as a professional until he got injured in December 2006; he then had another injury last season which kept him out for the whole of last season. With the mass of midfielders in the squad it is hard to see whether Tudur Jones will play or whether he will figure in Martinez's plans.
