As some bookies make Roberto favourite for the job he dismisses the Man Utd link

As you would expect though the Swans boss admits that it is flattering to be linked with the job but says that he is only part way through his job at Swansea.

Soeculation has linked Martinez with the job ever since they lost Carlos Queiroz to the Portugal job.   He was mentioned in the Sunday Times and it seemed to have grown from there despite being laughed off by Chairman Huw Jenkins.

And Roberto said today "It is a huge compliment coming from the best football club in Europe, but it's a compliment for Swansea City.

"There's nothing to be making decisions on, I've got too much work on my hands here at the moment."

That job for Roberto continued tonight for Roberto as his side took on both Port Talbot and Carmarthen in 45 minute friendlies at Richmond Park.
