Rory Fallon says that he always knew Roberto Martinez would make a top class manager

Fallon comes face to face with his former team mates for the first time since he left the LIberty Stadium in a £300,000 move to Plymouth Argyle.

The two sides will meet on Saturday in front of the Sky TV cameras at Home Park and Fallon admits that he is not surprised at how the Swans have shaped up under their Spanish manager who played in the same team as the striker during Fallon's early days at Swansea.

Fallon though was through the exit doors at Swansea before the change in management that saw Kenny Jackett leave and Roberto get appointed having never really been classed as any form of success in his time at Swansea.

And speaking ahead of the Swans clash at Plymouth, Fallon says "It was too much of a big club to have stayed in League One and with Robbie the gaffer they are only going to go one way.Click here!

"I played with him when I first got there and he went the year after.

"He was a good player and a good captain and you could see he had the potential to become a manager.

"Everyone always said he should go into management. I think he wanted to as well. I think he might be an even better manager than he was a player. It depends on how it goes with Swansea but I'm sure he will go higher."
