Simon Grayson reveals his admiration for Swansea and their style on the eve of the clash between the two sides

It's a trip to Blackpool this weekend for Swansea City and clearly it is a game that Grayson is relishing even maybe a bit wary of.

The last time the two sides met it was the seasiders on the way to the Championship who ran out victors at the Liberty Stadium by an incredibly 6 goals to 3 as the Swans pushed for what they hoped was an unlikely play off place.

But much has changed since then and the Swans go into tomorrow's game looking to push themselves up the Championship table from their current 11th place.  And it is that change in fortune that has Grayson under no illusion as to why it has happened

"Roberto has a good reputation - he was a good footballer, a good passer of the ball and he has got the team playing how he did.

"He has utilised his contacts in Spain with the players he has acquired. It's a big disappointment for them that (Ferrie) Bodde is out for the rest of the season because he had been getting glowing references and reports. They have got some other good players, though, and we have to be aware of that.

"Swansea play good football. Everybody you speak to says the same thing. They have good energy about them, they pass the ball around and they are a difficult team to play against. That's why they are in the position they're in.

"Roberto has done a terrific job in the last couple of years and our scouting reports on them tell us they are a very impressive side.

"It will be a very difficult game for us but it's a game that we are looking forward to.

"They will be looking to try and turn their draws into wins. We had the same problem last season where we drew too many games.

"But hopefully it is going to be a win for us."
