Pratley: We Can Do Better

Darren Pratley believes the Swans can do better despite toppling the league leaders in midweek

The Swansea City midfielder will be back in action on Saturday when Blackpool visit the Liberty with the home side hoping to move within a point of the side currently occupying a play off position.

Blackpool have been in strong form this season but Pratley believes the Swans are getting stronger and will continue to do so as the season progresses.

He told the Evening Post "We can play better than that and we can improve. Obviously we are happy with the result, but I don't think it was our best performance. I have been at Swansea for four years and we have played better than that, but beating a team like West Brom will help us get to our best.

"We were on top at times in the first half but didn't take our chances, so that's an area where we can do better. We need to be a bit more clinical.

"But to go to West Brom, a side who have just come out of the Premier League, is a great boost for us.

"We are seven games unbeaten and that breeds confidence.

"We are happy with the way things are going but we won't get carried away

"We have got a home game on Saturday and we want to carry things on. We have got Blackpool, Scunthorpe and then the derby and we want to keep the unbeaten run going."
