Sky Sports are reporting that Shefki Kuqi has officially been released by Swansea City

Sky also report that several clubs in both the Championship and League One are prepared to be ready to offer him a contract after he agreed to have his contract paid up and cancelled as a result.

Kuqi has previously spent time on loan at Derby this season after a move to Huddersfield earlier in the season fell apart reportedly due to the players demands at the time.

Kuqi is expected to sign a new deal elsewhere soon with both Derby and Huddersfield believed to be in the running again.
