Brendan Rodgers says he is looking after the finer details of his side's Wembley experience

Rodgers told the Evening Post "It's vital that we look after the small details

"We are trying to give the players the best chance to prepare and it's important to get the planning right for a game like this.

"We are making sure the logistics are all organised and that we have a smooth sail to Wembley.

"These days should be the best of your lives but, if they are not organised properly, they can be the worst.

"I have been involved in cup finals and other big games which have been really poor in terms of the organisation, and that does have an adverse effect on the players.

"They need to know that everything has been looked after.

We gave them a couple of days off this week and it's now a case of just making sure they tick over," Rodgers added.

"We have to keep them mentally fresh, then we will refocus again next week and look at every detail to make sure we reach our optimum level at Wembley."
