Brendan Rodgers has declared yesterday's friendly double as a 'good exercise'

Brendan saw his Swansea City side beaten 1-0 at Neath in the first of the two games before goals from Beattie, Rangel and Kurtis March saw them triumph 3-1 at Port Talbot in the later kick off.

And speaking afterwards to the official website, Rodgers said "It was a good exercise

"The scorelines aren't the important factors in this.

"The boys have had a tough week with double sessions most days, but they've worked well.

"I enjoyed both games, which have been well supported, and it's important that both Neath and Port Talbot feel part of what we are doing at Swansea.''
