A week off to reflect — podcast
Sunday, 26th Jan 2014 21:17 by LFW

Former QPR striker Kevin Gallen is among the guests on this week’s Open All R’s Podcast, discussing QPR’s style of play and the Huddersfield match on Saturday.

On Saturday’s game, and the situation in general, Gallen said: “The team that started the game, and started at Ipswich, hasn’t got much pace going forwards. Our build up this season has been very slow, which allows the opposition to go into their positions and sit deep which makes it difficult to break down.

“If we went up, it would be a major reconstruction and more players coming in. But if you’re the owner, losing the amount of money we are doing, we need to get back to the Premier League and get some money coming in. We’ve got players on the bench every week earning big, big money. Shaun Wright-Phillips doesn't play, Bobby Zamora doesn't play, Cesar doesn't play.

"I think the board trusted the wrong people. I think that much is obvious.

Host Paul Finney and studio guest Kevin Gallen are joined by AKUTR’s columnist Joanne Connolly and record producer Stephen Street. And a live studio audience of two.
