Swans Fans In Optimistic Mood Friday, 15th Aug 2014 15:40 by Planet Swans (follow us on Twitter @swansnews) Swansea fans are in optimistic mood ahead of the new season in terms of our final league position if not our opening day result. With the league campaign starting tomorrow at Manchester United, we have been asking registered users of the site to cast their votes on where the team will finish the season. And the overwhelming majority believe that a finish outside the Top and bottom 7 in the division is where we are heading. Over 60% of the people voting placed their marker in this section and it was pretty evenly spread between the two options available here (8th-10th and 11th-13th) 14% of those people casting their votes though did go for the position that we would end up losing our Premier League place come next May whilst a massively optimistic 3.5% of people believe that Champions League football next season is our destiny.
