A new survey carried out by the Premier League and VisitFootball have seen City at the top in regards to which Premier League club offers the best match day experience.

The survey included the following factors. Accessibility for disabled supporters, stadium hospitality, pre-match entertainment, food, stewarding and how welcome fans felt in the ground.

City came top for hospitality,second for disability access and third for visiting supporters experience.

City recently also won the Premier League Match Attenders Survey, in which they again had the highest score of the entire league with 4.47 out of 5.

Director of sales,services and operations at city Danny Wilson said;“We are extremely proud to be recognised in this way.

"It reflects the hard work that the staff off the pitch undertake and the part they play in ensuring that everyone who attends a match at the Etihad Stadium has a match day experience to remember.

“Having been awarded the first position overall for the 2012-13 season by VisitFootball, we knew this would be no easy task to retain. We must therefore acknowledge all of the other clubs, their staff and the great work that they do.

"We thank them for looking after our supporters when they travel away. We’re very much looking forward to the start of the 2014-15 season and delivering the City match day experience.”
