Former Dale player Clive Moyo Modise has found himself a new club in a new country in a whole new continent as he heads to South Africa to play in the Premier Soccer League.

Clive Moyo Modise has signed for South African Premier side Bidvest Wits. He joins them following his release from Spotland at the end of the 2006-7 season.

Wits are a well established Premier side in South Africa and are known as the Clever Boys due to their links with the local University. They adopted the Bidvest tag as part of a sponsorship deal with a well known South African financial group.

His move to South Africa wasn't entirely out of the blue. He had been called up to play for their U-23 side earlier this Summer and had previously been forced to pull out of an U-21 squad due to a hamstring injury.

In joining the Clever Boys, Clive will be following in the footsteps of former Manchester United goalkeeper Gary Bailey and former Scotland captain Richard Gough who both played for the University side during the 1970's.
