Blackpool v Leeds Preview
Saturday, 21st Mar 2015 10:24 by Editor

The game that everyone is talking about isn't at Bloomfield Road on Saturday and that says more about this season than anything. Even 12 months ago when we were struggling to get a win under Barry Ferguson, there was still an interest at events at Blackpool, but 12 months on a combination of Oyston, Clark and some of the worst players we've had at the seaside means interest is minimal.

With only 17 fit players it looks as though the season is already over. Not that Clark shouldn't be judged on what is happening at the club. He is the man that has let so many players go, that has failed to bring in any quality and who has only won 3 games since he arrived last November. Of course there is a bigger picture but the manager shouldn't be allowed to go uncriticised.

Lee Clark has limited options with Tony McMahon out (suspension) and Jamie O'Hara (ankle) and Niall Maher (groin) both doubts. Leeds' team may include unused loanee Granddi Ngoyi (thigh) and midfielder Rudy Austin (also thigh) may also return to the side. Striker Steve Morison is pushing for a recall as is teenager Kalvin Phillips.

It's the game where home fans will boycott the match as they express their frustration at the way the club is being run as they attend AFC Blackpool's game in the North West Counties Premier Division on Saturday instead. If you want to see some decent football on Saturday, we'd suggest you follow them.
