Two games two wins
Sunday, 17th Jul 2016 15:34 by Col

Dale picked up two friendly wins on Saturday with victories over Curzon Ashton and Stockport County.

It was an afternoon with the main priority was getting ninety minutes for the outfield players, but its always nice to end up on the winning side.

The game at Curzon saw Dale pick up a 3-1 win with goals coming from a brace from Nathaniel Mendez-Laing and one from Joe Bunney, whilst Calvin Andrew was the only scorer in a 1-0 win over Stockport.

The team at Curzon was Diba, Humphreys, Tanser, Gibbons, BBM; Camps, Lund, McDermott; Bunney, Henderson, NML.

The team at Stockport was Dieng; Cannon, Rafferty, Canavan, McNulty; Hooper, Morley, Allen, RNL; Andrew, Robinson.

The Stockport game involved two trialist goalkeepers. The first half saw Timothy Dieng who recently had a trial at Bolton played the first half, whilst former Chester keeper Tony Thompson played the second half - just a few days since playing against Dale whilst on trial with AFC Fylde.
