Reports from Scotland suggest that Paul Lambert is still pursuing an interest in signing Dundee keeper Rab Douglas.

The U's we're linked with an approach for the 37-year-old stopper early last week, before the signing of Ben Williams was completed from Carlisle United, and like then, Dundee boss Jocky Scott has continued to reiterate that the player is not for sale.

Speaking to the Dundee Courier, Scott has issued a hands-off warning to the U's, saying: "They can come up with any figure they want - big Rab is not available.

"He is happy here and like the rest of us looking forward to the new season, and why would I want to let the best goalkeeper in the league go?"

With Mark Cousins signing a new deal with the U's this summer and Williams signing last week, it seems odd that Lambert is targeting his former Celtic teammate, but it could be that he is looking to secure him as a player-coach at United Way.
