We’re all off to Arbitration
We’re all off to Arbitration

Ken Bates still hasn’t conceded in his fight with the Football League, and the battle over the 15 point deduction continues…

The club have issued the following statement today, via the official website:-

“Leeds United have written to the Football Association requesting that the matter now be referred to an Independent Arbitration Tribunal under FA rule K4. Under this provision a three-man panel is commissioned. The club and the FA both nominate one member each and the chairman is independent.

The club have also requested that Rule K6 should be dispensed with so that the proceedings are not confidential and the matter is determined at a public hearing. We will keep supporters informed as to the progress of this request”.

The site goes on to explain that FA rule K4 refers to the procedure of arbitration and FA rule K6 refers to the confidentiality surrounding the procedure.

Here’s hoping that this time we can finally get the points deduction revoked, and go eleven points clear at the top of the table. On! On! On!
