Though it's in the Mirror, there's an outspoken item quoting midfielder George Thorne and the ultimatum that he has thrown at his parent club West Bromwich Albion:

George declares that he's unwilling to be a bench-warmer and has been under-used and under-rated at WBA - and would see a move to Derby as a good option.

I hope it happens; he would be the fulcrum of the Rams' team next season and would of course be an automatic pick for Steve Mac.

Other clubs - including those in the Prem - will eye George but he insists he won't be happy moving just to be a squad player somewhere else.

I think this Transfer will go right down to the wire, it might take Thorne to ask for a Transfer for us to have ant chance of getting him, could cost us £3M+?
He's well worth it IMO
