Today sees the launch of The Quad's summer season of football - it's free and commences at 6.30 pm:

The DCFC Collection (the Rams' heritage trust) is exhibiting many rare images and the gallery walls are adorned with classic photos from Derby's great history.
Spain-based rock muso and Derby lad Kev Moore will be playing a set of Rams songs and club skipper Shaun Barker is putting on a DJ set during the evening!
There will be other DCFC heritage displays and exclusive Kev Moore and Rams-related merch on offer.
The exhibition and a string of football talks runs through until early September - sure to be of interest to Rams fans of all ages.
Seems like a great antidote to the 'Wembley blues' - and a good footy diversion whilst we wait England's next glorious capitulation in the World Cup!

Following up his great Rams songs set at the Quad, Kev Moore & his Straight Shooters pals Mike & Stef played a great set of Free & Bad Company rock songs at Matlock's Grand Pavilion last night.
They are playing a free gig in Burton-upon-Trent tonight at the Uxbridge Arms - situated at

The splendid "Pride & Passion" football season at Derby's Quad continues in style next week with a talk entitled "My Father, Peter Taylor", by journalist & author Wendy Dickinson.
Wendy will base her talk on writings about her late, great Dad, incorporating her superb "Vol. 1" of his biography, "For Pete's Sake".
