Bristol Rovers 14:47 - May 16 with 6347 viewspencoedjack

Taking 43000 fans to play off final tomorrow.

Pretty impressive always thought they were the bigger side in Bristol

They've sold around 27k tickets, total crowd could be 45k though.

45k at the conference play-off final! 42,669 is the record so far.

Add to that the fact that they've never had to get back into the league via the Conference play off.

My wife is city. Before the knocking down of the Ateo stand, City averaged 15000 and the Gas about 6000.

Tough times don't last. Tough people do.

True. Bristol city always remind me of deluded big time cardiff city - whereas 'the gas' always remind me of the good old swans. Good luck to Rovers for tomorrow.

Much prefer a City. Rovers are a horrid club who detest the Welsh. Comfortably my least favourite club after you know who. Hope it all goes wrong and they spend seasons in the lower ladder. I have said it many times that I have never felt so unwelcome visiting a club other than Cardiff. They have a crap ground, horrible supporters and the biggest bunch of Keystone Cops running the show that I have ever seen.

Bristol City the bigger club but just like their cousins in Cardiff they are shitty fair weather supporters. Rovers fans are fantastically loyal. PP you are talking out of your arse!

I can't imagine city taking close to 30k for a conference play off. I believe they took 50k to millennium stadium for a final.

Bristol is not a name that springs to mind as regards football

I don't have good memories of Bristolians who hated the welsh and were pretty arrogant although fook knows why

Living in north Bristol its grips my shite, were the feck have these 43000 fans come from?
If these plastics had put more effort in, they would not be in this predicament.
When I take my step son to football training there is only 1 kid who wears his Rovers top with pride, the rest at LP, MU or MC.
With these 'small' clubs' as we once once were, maybe educating their sons and daughters to support their local club, as my dad did.
It doesn't seem to happen in Bristol at the moment, they are all obsessed with LP, MU, MC, sadly.

good last post.

Rovers remind me of Wrexham shamefully in conference neverland.

TOO MANY, thousands travel the extra hour to Liverpool and Manchester to see "their" team. Its sickening really and its been thus for many years even when Wrexham were doing well.

You are right - the city is well big enough to have a Premier League team. I lived in Bristol for 50 years before I moved over here but I still love you Perchy regardless what you say!

Potentially a biggish club, maybe not bigger than City, but would eclipse most lower league sides on not only weekly gate, but potential pull from the area.
