This thread is like a litmus test of the posters on this yur site isn't it? Darren hasn't let me down.

It's a shame we don't have such a player in the squad this season. I'm hoping someone steps in that regard.

Gylfi. Much more effective and consistent playmaker.

That's not to say I didn't love Hernandez despite his inconsistency. Him and de Guzman were subjected to some rather harsh criticism from our fans. Bizarre considering they were two of our better players during the Laudrup days.

I'm not sure Gylfi is sufficiently divisive. The signs were there in the second half of the season though ...

Ah Johnny D. He was another one. I liked that cat.

Why do you think he gave up the premier league for retirement football in the Middle East then?

He was shown the door and, a bit disillusioned with big league politics, went where the money was.

Yeah but he wasn't and he was a regular under Monk but if you want to make things up to suit your agenda please feel free.

The first 45 minutes of the West brom game when we went 3.0 up just before half time was the best 45 minutes of football I have ever witnessed Pablo was like Messi that night and if West brom hadn't scored that goal before half time I reckon we would have put another 3 or 4 past them in the 2nd half

Thought you meant in a creative sense. Emnes is probably the most divisive player in the squad currently. A blessing considering he barely plays.

He made 57 appearances for us and turned up in about 10.

Acoording to wiki he's made 25 appearances since he left us.

Of course like Uxbridge says above he wasn't injured much it's just that the rest of us imagined it.

Spot on as ever Daz.

He was gash.

Sometimes sublime sometimes not quite so, gave the ball away too often for me but I suppose it's all down to perception.
