2nd-year scholars Callum Ball (striker), Aaron Cole (playing left-back for reserves, but originally forward/left winger), Alex Witham (central midfielder) and Chris Jones (right-back) have all been awarded a professional contract. All four have played for the reserves this season, Ball and Cole regularly, Jones fairly regularly.
Although the official website doesn't state it as such, I assume that means the other 2nd-year scholars Sam McElroy, Cormac Hegarty (picked up when Arsenal released him), Perry Goldsbury, Yohann Le Sant (had injury problems) and Ryan Betts have been released. |  |
