Also played for ten years for a Sunday league side called Sapporo. Not a standout name but we decided to form a team while euphoric after England’s World Cup victory there during the Japan World Cup. Turned out to be a good move when our enterprising captain got in touch with Sapporo beer and for a couple of years they sent us a crate of cans for each game to go the man of the match (they never went to the man of the match) |  | |  |
