We are being absolutely crippled at the moment. Since the 4-match winning streak we have won only 3 of 11 games. We have players out of position and schoolkids in the team.
I am not blaming anyone - I doubt the loan system could actually keep up with the pace at which our players pick up knocks.
It just goes to show it's mostly about money - start the season with a squad of 28 decent players many of whom have played at the top, and you can weather most things.
Start the season with gaps in your squad and hope in your heart, and injuries will kill you off.
The season is starting to go south. Brayford, Barker, Tyson, Riggott, Davies, and god knows how many others out. We don't stand a chance, realistically. |  |
