Next excuse for no signings 12:05 - Jan 5 with 302 views

So as the club has stated that we need to get rid of players before we are able to bring any new players in I wonder what there excuse will be for not adding to the squad in January.

Well we targeted certain players but we were way apart in our valuations for the player or there wage demands but we did try very hard, yeah right!

When will the club realise we don't need anymore players who will play the odd game here and there should players get injured we need players who are good enough to play week in week out and bring real quality to the side.

All we will see is decent Championship players going to clubs who are nowhere as big a club as we are and with far less financial backing as we have. I'm sick and tired of smaller clubs attracting players who I would love to see in a Derby shirt.

Yes money does talk but surely we can't be that far off in negotiations with players who end up slipping through the net.
