Redknapp for England? 15:28 - Feb 17 with 1146 viewshemingway

The question is why?

I have got to say I have never rated him as a manager. When things go well he's full of himself; when they don't, he finds someone to blame. What has he actually achieved as a manager?

I'll come clean: I don't like him. I don't trust him. I don't rate him.

His record:

Bournemouth, over 8 or 9 years he took them up, then took them down.

West Ham, 7 years, kept them in the prem with a couple of top 10 finishes, but spent a lot of money in the process, and left as the skint ship was about to sink.

Pompey, 3 years, more money spent. Promotion - fair enough. Swore blind he wouldn't leave and go to Saints.

Left and went to Saints.

Took Saints down.

Pompey again, 3 years, spent vast amounts, won the cup. Swore blind he hadn't been interviewed for the Newcastle job.

Had actually been interviewed for the Newcastle job.

Spurs. Took over a team that was struggling but full of quality. Has done well, but God knows how much money he's spent.

Where, in all this, is the evidence of success without the aid of big money? Where is integrity, exceptional achievement?

In total, 1 cup, 2 promotions, 2 relegations. A few statements of questionable veracity, and a lot of cockney BS.

England manager?

On 2nd thoughts, he sounds perfect.
