Trees reject Boyd - Go get him, Clough! 13:36 - Feb 1 with 1402 viewsRamZone_News

Posh's excellent midfielder George Boyd was set to move to Forest - but they amazingly nixed the deal on medical grounds!

Nigel - here's your chance to get an experienced, effective midfielder to bolster the choices and leadership.

If DCFC had one eye on cashing in on Will Hughes in the summer, what's wrong with taking George on loan for a permanent deal option in summer?

Discuss.....!

Perfect choice RamZone. And what about Rudy Skacel as a last 20 impact player? He has a thunderous shot that is usually on target and excellent ball playing skills. As a Scottish Premiership player who is in his late thirties the guy should be aquirable even to paupers such as DCFC. And what experience and skills would he bring to our younger players.

Derby County aren't paupers, they have billionaire owners whose consortium members invest heavily in many sports worldwide.

It's time for our club's budget and ambitions to be re-appraised and upgraded in line with the potential of the club and (patient) expectations of the supporters.

February's results - and the actions of Messrs. Rush & Clough in the loan market - will influence the level of interest from supporters when the club's ra-ra messages come out in the springtime, appealing for 2013-14 S/T renewals.
