Getting the goal-getters?????? 19:03 - May 29 with 1825 viewsdavram

Oh, well, same old, same old Derby!

Part one: here's the story of another striker that the Rams missed in January, who has since done a good job to help his new team Hull get promoted and now has a chance in the Premier League:

Part two: Rams are not yet offering enough for another Scottish striker, Johnny Russell (who??) with other Championship rivals in the hunt:

Let's see how this one pans out, with Sam Rush insisting that DCFC will be competitive in the summer transfer market.

We'd also like them to be competitive at the business end of the Championship by the time next Easter comes around, Sam.

Anyone got any other rumours or whispers from transferland?

It's the same old same old as every year, can't get the 1st choice targets so go for the 2nd choice or even 3rd choice, put in a stupidly low bid, somebody else comes in & hey presto we lose out again, never changes? We will end up with a striker from the Blue Square Premier!!!

Update on the "exciting" chase for Rams top target Johnny Russell:

Pity that Sammon only got 10 mins to harass the England defence for Ireland last night at Wembley - England weren't up to much by then, so if the game had been a bit longer he might have helped to spoil Nasty Cole's party...

Well done to Conor & Jeff in topping off the season nicely by playing at Wembley - a reward for a season of graft & progress from both.

I hope we get Russell I think he's a better bet than Vaughan, the only problem I have is he's just recovering from a broken leg, not sure how bad it was but its always a worry I fear?!
