As 'derbies' are often moved to lunchtime or evening kick-offs in any case on police advice, this isn't any surprise.
More disappointing was moving the big kick-off - the Ram's opening game of the season - at home to Blackburn Rovers, to Sunday, 4th August at 4.00 pm for TV.
Rams fans therefore can't now share the opening day excitement that will unfold all over the country on Saturday 3rd August; nor will they share the anniversary celebrations 'on time,' as one of the 12 original members of The Football League.
