Awesome result against Brighton, but was this a dirty game?
Unless the 'app' I've downloaded is telling porkies, there were 8 bookings - 5 against Derby.
2 against Oldham and 2 against Blackburn. That's going it a bit isn't it? Averaging 3 bookings a game makes me wonder if we're going to be seeing a few important players skipping a game or so fairly early on - is it just pedantic refereeing?
Sorry, didn't see any of the games, but I'm chanting on the inside!

It was 5 to 3 yellows but definitely more the ref over doing things than a dirty game. Hotel contested but not mean spirited. Unfortunately the ref felt the need to play casino and deal the cards when a few good stern chats would have sufficed!

Allons-y!

Yeah I listened to radio derby and I can't say it sounded dirty - the guys commentating we're apalled by some of the decisions so I would say not. I don't mind how many cards we get if we get the win.... Not that Brian C would agree.... Not a fan of such things!

Very true Chop - Brian was no fan of his players receiving cards. If I remember correctly he would fine them. Mind you if he came up against Ref Andy Pandy he may have had a different view. He was card happy on Sat.

Allons-y!

Ol Brian despised Wegners Arsenal team that one the Prem because of their ill discipline much like he hated Leeds before that.

Would be interesting to hear that question posed to Nigel as he would have been under that regime at F****t when his dad was number 1.
