Why do any half decent players refuse to sign for Derby? As we all know the players are agent led and if the dosh is there they will sign, no question. Just consider the gates of Millwall and Peterboro when compared to our 21,000. No comparison folks and yet Millwall have enticed Waghorn to join them, a player you may recall who refused to come to Pride Park. As for Peterboro, here is a club who have signed a forward for 1.4 million despite being relegated. If that had happened at Derby we would have had an immediate fire sale and be languishing in the bottom half.
