Derby's away trip to play at Bournemouth today will see the players wearing the third-choice kit on-field for the first time. A strange light-blue and yellow affair, the kit has been dubbed 'The Thunderbirds' strip because it looks like the costumes worn by those space-age puppets from the Thunderbirds' TV series, as some will remember fondly. Ohh well....we did wear chocolate and amber shirts in our earliest days, didn't we? http://www.dcfc.co.uk/news/article/third-kit-set-for-debut-1188580.aspx At £45 as shirt for adults and £35 for kids' sizes, don't get me started on the VFM that fans get from footy shirts! No doubt you can pick one up for a tenner by Easter-time in the DCFC shop sales. I'm keeping my purse-strings tight on this one - but whatever they're wearing, let's hope that Eustace, Bryson and Hughes can 'pull the strings' on the park and help to steer the Rams to victory today! | |
