The Big One Returns to Chaddesden Park! 00:29 - Jun 3 with 496 viewsRamsTrust

Summer seems to have come early this year - so be sure to spend a fun Sunday afternoon outdoors on Chaddesden Park, Derby, which again hosts The Big One community event on 5th June. Admission is free and the fun starts at 11.00 am!

It is one of the biggest events on the summer calendar in Derbyshire and as ever, there will be a host of attractions and displays for all the family to enjoy.

Youngsters can stay occupied in the Kidz Korner and free play areas; there will be live music and dance demonstrations, and exhibitions and stalls representing many local organisations and charities.

There will be a mediaeval village and a fun fair too! There will be exotic animals on display and also a fun dog show - you can register your canine pal to compete for awards.

There’s plenty to see and take part in, plus food and refreshments stall to help you spend your Sunday in the park with the family.

RamsTrust will be there too, alongside the Midlands Regional Co-operative Society. We will have our Rams-related merchandise on offer and will enjoy talking to you about Derby County’s transfer moves and the prospects in the Championship promotion race for next season.

The Co-op will have their tombola prize draw and information on their various retail services and travel division as well as a footy skills shooting game!

The event is promoted by Derby LIVE in conjunction with Derby City Council and the Safety Partnership, alongside the Friends of Chaddesden Park.

Make the most of the fine early summer weather and come along to The Big One this Sunday!

See you there!
