We love nothing more than a thread about a player not playing for us ! What else generates such optimism and hope ?!?
Eze and Kelman are gone - enter Edwards (not literally, although tempting).
Would be a major coup for us and I would hope we could get some upside in the investment too, just as long as we don’t kill him to death before he plays a game or two.
It would also defy the logic of other development signings but who cares, eh ? |

I reckon you’d really have to build the whole team around Madsen for it to work and that means everyone else would have to put in a massive shift each week to cover.
You would have to consider dropping anyone else that doesn’t cover well (like Dembele) and stretch the team to breaking point. That would probably mean more injuries than we already have.
I suspect it could work for a few games until the oppo cottons on and then we’d back to square one again. Maybe worth trying once or twice against teams that don’t press much but I think medium to long term we are probably going to see him to do a Celar at some point. |

I simply said it would be a good place to start as it’s taking place this week. There are a number of simple ways to do that - the easiest of which is by just not going.
No one needs to chant, throw balls, invade the pitch or hijack it. |

If the club really has a strategy, complete with succession plans, then Nourry should be replaceable too.
Hoos can stand in whilst they find someone else if necessary.
Should be no different to replacing Julien and Bould acting as interim.
Unless the club doesn’t have a consistent strategy of course. |

In the ‘miked’ up training session, Bould kept shouting about finding the 9.
I think it was Cov’s 9 (10, 7, 11 and any other we could see in space).
Just be prepared that when Julian gets blamed and subsequently fired, Bould is the most likely Plan B (and I don’t mean that Chavvy rapper). |

Kolli’s effort was probably the highlight of the day, along with Kone getting the goal.
No doubt we will hear that Cov are the new Watford and are champions elect now.
Whilst we were awful, credit to them for being well organised, coached and clinical with their finishing. Credit to us for several assists. |

Dunne has been around long enough to know that nonsense could have happened but what the hell is Kone thinking this morning when he wakes up and reads the reports and socials.
I imagine the training ground conversations next week might be among the lines of, ‘So, Gaffer, this project - remind me again what the objectives were and can we double check if my contract still has the release clause in it ?’
