I hear what you are saying re: set plays...
Something needs to change as it doesn't quite stack up - Bartley & Wilf's threat in the air, Gylfi's superb delivery... yet we don't seem to cause too many problems at set plays??
I do recall Green pulling off a great save from Bartley in the first half tho! |

Great to see squad players coming into the starting 11 and doing a job... Jazz (although without being under too much pressure) looked settled, and Bartley looking more and more like a premier league player each game he plays. You'd swear we'd shelled out the big FF money for him.
Carroll - Like this lad, long term replacement for Britton perhaps?

Pleased that Carrol went well y'day, his energy and passing accuracy kept us ticking over. Emnes superb, Montero, another level! Great to see these players stepping in and doing a job when it really matters. Bartley solid and on for the future... |

Not that I disagree with your comment, but who would you have replaced him with...??We don't appear to have a fit replacement?
Carroll definitely one for the future and hopefully one we can retain in the summer! |

Although Dyer has been scoring, which i'm obviously delighted with... he has no end product when it comes to crossing then ball. Montero to start on Saturday for me!! |

My point being, we'd only made 2 changes, why not bring off a defender and throw Gomis up top....? Seems strange to me! |

Anyone know why Monk failed to make a final change at the weekend, surely Gomis had to be give a run for the last 10 mins plus injury time as we looked to pinch an equalizer?? |
