When asked why he wanted to give such a scathing reply to Redknapps criticism the reply was exactly along those lines IE -What am I supposed to do just leave redknapps opinion out there without reply
Shows the ignorance of most football fans.Hes a Class finisher, bit of a nutcase OFF the pitch but worth the minor aggro,I also told people at QPR that they should be looking at him a few years ago,if he plays for Wolves week in week out in League One he will easily get 35 goals.
I would say that only kids should be seen in full kit and with names and numbers on the back,I can just about handle if someone over 16 wants to wear a team shirt on match day although I do cringe a bit,but agree with a lot of people that its the fat mongs wearing them out shopping or heaven forbid out for dinner that is just ridiculous,I will wear a top when I'm playing football or going for a run but draw the line at any other time.
And yes Liverpool really do have the most 'Full Kit W*******
Saw this on another site.A BBC QED programme from our days under Jim Smith.Good watch if only to see how it used to be before SKY money and to see the old faces and Sir Les's first tash. And to hear the audacity of Dean Coneys nickname being 'Dixie' Dean Coney. From what I recall of those days the shouts from the Loft were more along the lines of 'Dean Pony'
Woo well done Tony thanks for sanctioning the disastrous signings of Green,Bosingwa,Mbia,Samba,Park all on ridiculous money under the stewardship of Mark Hughes the worst manager we've had since Alan Mullery and our subsequent relegation.
He's still holding out for West Ham & Norwich to come in for him and on the one hand at least this now means we're officially able to be in talks with him,on the other hand it will force West Ham (who have said their main priority is a striker)or Norwich (Who already have Van Wolfswinkel whos a similar player) to make a bid matching ours.We will no doubt offer him higher wages than either of them but you'd think given the choice he'd prefer to go from playing in the champions League to the Premiership than from playing in the Nou Camp to playing at Dean Court within one season.
All the young blokes I worked with in my last job are like little clones of one another, that stupid Joey Essex Hair, stupid tattoos and jean shorts.
I hate all of the above,we can blame Beckham for making tattoo's 'cool' - they are one of the things I hate more than anything, all these morons think they are being original with them and their 'Only God can judge me' bullshit neck tattoos, they're wrong there because I certainly am judging them, the silly little tw*ts.
Another worrying trend is MEN going for sunbeds,my mate actually updates his facebook status when he goes for one,its embarrassing how much like women blokes are nowadays, how anyone can look at Beckham's tattoos and think it looks good or watch the only way is f'ing Essex and aspire to be like any of the cretins I've seen in the papers from that show is utterly beyond me.Im only 33 and feel so old compared to the idiots in their twenties and early thirties out inhaling balloons in Shoreditch, taking MDMA,wearing their jean shorts, fake tan and Joey Essex Hair.
Having been at this game as Brentfords now my nearest ground I heard not a murmer of any chanting like this AT ALL throughout the game. And having heard of it only since the game,I thought I'd try and find if anyone else had,it would appear that they are quite spurious rumours being spread around twitter by Glasgow Rangers fans and other people who were not at the game.Which is a bit sick really,to use the death of a young deceased soldier to try and score some points against Celtic. There was a pitch invasion at the end and some idiots with flares throughout the game but I heard nothing like is being suggested whatsoever.
Can't see it happening as it would be hard for Fernandes to pay off ALL the higher paid dross like Barton,Wright Phillips,Johnson and with Cesar moving on we're a keeper down so if we could get rid of the above and Traore and anyone who doesn't fancy the Championship (Hoilett,Zamora) BUT could then go back to our once admired strategy of signing young and lower division players who then go on to play in the Premiership and then their country (Sinton,Ferdinand,Sinclair etc) or the (Darren Peacocks,Rufus Brevett's Andy Impey etc) who were all great,so I would look at keepers like Alex Smithies (Huddersfield) or Scott Flinders (Bristol C)or Simon Moore (Brentford)to challenge or even take over from the calamity that can be Rob Green,Matt Mills (Leicester) to replace Samba,if Barton does move on theres the strong link of Scott Parker but I'd prefer we went for a younger Liam Bridcutt (Brighton)or Adam Forshaw (Brentford)type in midfield,if SWP & Hoilett do get off loaded I would go for Matty Phillips (Blackpool)or Jennison Myrie Williams (Port Vale) as the next Sinclair & Impey wingers,up front I'd love to see us replace the old guard of non goalscorers (Bothroyd,Zamora,Johnson) with a Leigh Griffiths (Wolves),Tom Pope (Port Vale),Zakhi Wells (Bradford) or Paddy Madden (Yeovil),I know its an old fashioned and unlikely scenario in the win at all costs cut throat football world we now live in but it worked for us in the Premiership all those years ago and I would love us to go back to actually scouting the lower divisions and finding the gems that we used too rather than signing a load of over 30's over paid mercenary's.
Although I think we should be looking at younger players than him Scott Parker would be a great signing for us,the fans would absolutely love him and a lot of the younger players would learn a thing or two about professionalism and attitude on and off the pitch, definite captain material.Would probably spell the end for Shaun Derry to join McDermott's Leeds revolution though.
Still hoping we are going to spend some of the Samba money on a decent centre half (Matt Mills) and a decent young striker from the lower leagues with a bit of potential and/or sell on value (Nahki Wells of Bradford or Paddy Madden of Yeovil)
1.Mbia -Angers me more than any QPR player since Matthew Brazier or Karl Ready 2.Jose Bosingwa - For obvious reason's too numerous to mention 3.Shaun Wright Phillips - As much for his ludicrous salary as his lack of ability
