I despair for our fans at times.
Just because it hasn't been reported in the media doesn't mean we weren't interested. He's picked a much better option than Swansea City at this time. We desperately need players and it's making people delusional. |

He's still absolute shite, if you give any striker as many chances as he had today one will go in eventually.
Any decent striker would have had a hat-trick today, still needs to be gone in the summer. |

Yeah, Garry's biggest problem is he's Garry Monk. If Laudrup was still here and we were where we are now all of our fans would be lauding him. Because it's Garry Monk, the bloke that played for us in League 2 and was playing for us past his best then certain people have issues with him. |

Thats the risk but we weren't really in a strong position with this one, you'd think the board tried their best to sell him but couldn't do it on our terms. |

We've agreed the fee with Napoli already though so if he's banged in 20 goals they won't have much choice really. |

If we'd sold him this summer we'd be selling him far below his true value because of his injury problems. The loan makes sense as long as the agreed fee is a reflection of what a fully fit Michu is worth, he proves himself this season and we get his true value. If his ankles are really knackered then we've still taken what you'd imagine is a decent enough loan fee. |

He's 21 and so far in his career averages 0.43 goals a game, not bad for a bloke that can't finish. |

Dunno where the idea he's not up to the Premier League has come from, he got 8 goals in our first season which for a first season in the PL from the wing is good, better than any of our other wingers have achieved since he left I believe. He's a PL talent who needs the right club to help him show it.
Exactly the type of signing we normally make and if he'd never played for us before people would love the idea. |
