Saints fans may feel a feeling of deja Vu as they head to Walsall on Saturday.

Last season Saints trip to Walsall came in their 20th game of the season and guess what it will be same again on Saturday (weather assuming) but the coincidences dont end there, spookily Saints are on exactly the same number of points gained from 19 games as they were last season, of course back then there was a little case of a ten point deduction, but without that we would be on 28, exactly the same as we are on today.

Techically we are a little behind this term as we have had a game postponed, if the hartlepool game had gone ahead then things would not be so symetrically aligned, but the message is clear, last season was seen as playing catch me up due to a poor start, but things are little different this year, the Walsall game in December 2009 saw Saints start to surge ahead and look a good outside bet to make up the points deduction and get promotion, and only serves to emphasise the work we now have to do unless we want to suffer the same fate as Leeds and spend a third term in League 1.
