TWTD understands that academy first-year academy scholar Joe Whight has been offered a professional deal by the Blues. Whight, a former Copleston High School pupil, has been with the club since he was 12.

The 17-year-old plays mainly at left-back but can also operate in midfield and at the centre of the defence.

This season Whight has been a regular in the U18s and has also broken into the reserves.
