According to the Leicester Mercury Neil Warnock is set to swoop formFoxes defender Lee Peltier.

The former Huddersfield defender who only arrived at the KP Stadium last summer is apparently surplus to requirements as Nigel Pearson wants Liam Rosenior as his new right-back from former club Hull City.

A fee of around £500,000 has been mooted.

However news of Leeds possible takeover/investment does not appear to have reached all parts of the East Midlands and it seems unlikely any signing will be made by us in the near future.

The Mercury also report that rumoured one-time Leeds target Matt Mills has seen a move to Scottish Champions Celtic stall. Leicester want £3m for the defender who was a massive flop following a move from Reading whilst Celtic want to do either a cash+player or season long-loan deal.

Celtic could also be a likely destination for Aidy White who seems certain to reject the new deal offered to him by Leeds and move under the Bosman rule, however Leeds would get compensation due to his age.
