Nugent was released by Jackett back at the start of May and then he made a shock return nearly three weeks later when the club announced Nugent would be reserve team for the coming season. Kevin has all the right coaching badges for the role.
Nugent can still play, if needed, and scored 15 goals for us since he signed from Orient at the start of 2003, scoring vital goals in that season to help Swansea stay in the league.
