Betting Preview - Norwich v QPR Friday, 25th Apr 2008 16:35 QPR travel to relegation threatened Norwich on Saturday, with a look at the odds for that one and value elsewhere in the market here's our two pundits. The Don This week I’m going to start with our visit to Carrow Road and I’m feeling quite bullish about the chances of the increasingly super Hoops taking all three points. Odds of 12/5 are offered by Stan James – invest £25 in a QPR win. I’m also tempted with the 11/5 offered by the same firm on CRYSTAL PALACE denting and hopefully derailing Hull’s promotion ambitions. My suggested investment is £10. Finally we’ll turn to racing and the Bet365 Gold Cup at Sandown. It’s tempting to follow a couple of my old favourites in the form of Bewley’s Berry and Ungaro, but I’m going stick my neck out and say that KNOWHERE will be somewhere in the frame. Have £7.50 each way at 20/1 with Bet Direct. Previously Advised: Brian Power I have also been told to apologise regarding the remark about Mr Mellor being a knuckle dragging, over tattooed, sweaty moron from SW6. So I apologise to any knuckle dragging, over tattooed, sweaty morons from SW6 for comparing you to David Mellor. This week could be the perfect one for all R’s fans as Fulham could confirm their relegation and Chelsea could be beaten in the league by Man U and the Champions league by Liverpool. The unbeaten record could go on Saturday and if it does don’t be surprised to see Liverpool beat them on Wednesday. You can get 2/1 for a United win and we will have a fiver on that and then place the winnings on the scousers. Lets hope the flags they give out to generate an atmosphere on Wed night have also rans printed on the reverse side. We go to Norwich which is a great away day and it is a shame we were given so few tickets but I think the travelling support will have a good journey home with the three points and we will have a £5 on the correct score of 3-1 and £5 on Rowly for the first goal. In the BET365 Gold Cup at Sandown we will have a £5 e/w on Royal Auclair at 25/1 and will finish off with a couple of football bets as we look to gain some respectability at the end of a bad campaign on the betting front.
